Cookies policy

Updated : June 22, 2026

The present cookie policy is intended to inform data subjects about the usage of cookie technology on Sekoia.io. In this Cookie Policy, SEKOIA.IO, a company registered with the Paris Trade and Company Register under number 913 174 744, having its registered office at 28 Boulevard du Colombier, 35000 Rennes France, is referred to as “we” or “us”. The scope of this cookie policy applies to all websites and platform used by sekoia.io, visitors using the website or the blog as well as users using the platform. These different environment are referred as “ the websites”. The cookie list of Sekoia.io can be found at the end of this document.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser by websites that you visit. They are created for a limited time when a user’s browser loads a given website: the website sends data to the browser, which then creates a text file. Every time the user returns to that same website, the browser retrieves the file and sends it to the website’s server.

Data stored by cookies include the pages viewed, the type of browser used, your IP address, and sometimes the information you entered on a website to save you having to enter it again.

They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the website.

Cookies can be session-specific, in which case they’re only stored in your browser for the duration of your browser session, i.e. until you leave the site or the app, after which they are deleted.

Some cookies are described as “persistent”, and these stay in your browser after the session (unless you specifically delete them).

2. Why do we use cookies?

We use Cookies for several reasons. Some Cookies are required for technical reasons that are essential for our Websites and services to operate and to provide user-requested functionality; we refer to these cookies as “Strictly Necessary” Cookies. They are listed in more detail below.

3. How can you manage cookies?

In line with applicable legislation, Cookie placement on your device is subject to your consent unless they are used solely to enable or facilitate electronic communication or are strictly necessary to provide an online communication service at your express request.

The first time you connect to the websites, you receive information regarding cookies in an information banner that is visible at the bottom of your screen.

You may consent to the placement of cookies by clicking on the “Accept all” button on the banner.

Such consent will be valid for a maximum period of six (6) months. Naturally, you can withdraw your consent to the installation of cookies at any time.

You can refuse the placement of cookies on your device by:

Clicking on the “Reject all” button in the banner, or

– Setting your choices in the cookie manager accessible from the “Cookie Settings” button.

– You can then adjust the available sliders to “Enabled” or “Disabled” and confirm your selection by clicking the “Save & Accept” button. The slider is set to “Disabled” by default for Cookies that are not strictly necessary for the operation of the website and the provision of our services.

Please note that Strictly Necessary Cookies cannot be refused because they are necessary for the operation of the websites and the provision of our services.

If you refuse the placement of cookies, you are informed that your browsing and experience on the website may be impaired.

Additionally, most web browsers allow you to control cookie placement through the browser settings. However, if you do so, you will have to manually set certain preferences every time you visit a website, and some services or features may not work at all.

You can find out more about cookies, including how to see what cookies have been set, by visiting www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org.
