Here's what Sekoia's typical hiring process looks like. We may adapt these steps slightly for each role to make sure it fits.

Our philosophy is to have discussions rather than trick questions. These conversations will give you a feel for how we work and what we stand for.

Just as importantly, they're a chance for you to share your unique career path and describe what you're looking for in your next role.
1. First contact
30’
Your profile piqued our interest! Now, we want to know more about you. This first exchange with HR is an opportunity for you to learn more about Sekoia and the position. And for us, it’s a chance to hear about your expertise, your values, and what you’re looking for to ensure it’s a great match.

TIPS :

Be ready to share your experience, how it matches the role, and what interests you about the job. Remember, it’s a short discussion, so try to be clear and concise.
2. N+1 interview
45—60’
This first conversation with the manager is your chance to get a real sense of the role, the day-to-day work environment, and what the team needs. It’s all about seeing if we're a mutual match for each other.

TIPS :

Come to the meeting with your own questions for the manager or the team. We want to make sure you get as much out of this interview as we do.
3. Team interview or technical test
60’
It's time for a deep dive into your expertise and how you solve problems. We want to understand your professional choices, your methodology, and how you adapt to different environments. These questions aren't designed to trick you. We just want to see how you think and work.

TIPS :

Be prepared to walk us through the "why" behind your past projects and the technical decisions you've made along the way.
4. N+2 interview
30—45’
Finally, this last stage is all about alignment. It’s your opportunity to see if our long-term vision and company values truly resonate with you, and to learn more about the upcoming challenges facing the department and Sekoia as a whole.

TIPS :

By this point, you should have all the data you need. Use this time to ask any remaining questions that will help you decide if this is the right environment for your next career move.
5. Reference calls
We'll ask you for up to three professional references so we can get some feedback on your past experiences from former colleagues or managers. After this, the finish line is in sight, and we'll be ready to discuss next steps.

Don't forget to give your references a heads-up, so they know to expect a call from us soon. We'd love to hear from them on how you collaborate best, and how we can set you up for success from day one.
6. Offer
Once you've successfully passed all the previous steps, we'll be in touch with your official offer. We can't wait to welcome you to the Sekoia team and start building the future of cybersecurity together.

You're in! Whether you’re hybrid or fully remote, your team will be on-site during your first few days to greet you. They'll help you settle into your workspace, get connected, and quickly settle into the day-to-day rhythm.

Asynchronous training
You’ll complete asynchronous training on cybersecurity essentials and our core product at your own pace. These interactive courses ensure you build a solid foundation before diving deeper into the product and your team’s projects.

Dedicated buddy
From day one, you’ll have a designated buddy whose mission is to answer your questions and offer practical guidance. They’ll share best practices, introduce you to your colleagues and different teams, and help you navigate our company culture.

Cross-team introductions
Over the first two weeks, we schedule brief meetings with every team to identify points of contact and understand our organizational structure. These touchpoints help you see how each department operates and where your role fits in the bigger picture.
