Vannes – April 22, 2021 – The National Institute for Local Cybersecurity (INCRT) and Sekoia, a French deeptech company specializing in cyber threat anticipation, innovation enthusiast, and prominent player in Threat Intelligence, have entered into a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to establish joint initiatives and shared work programs dedicated to the cybersecurity of rural areas and their institutional, economic, and infrastructural components.
The strategic contribution of INCRT is built on observation, resource pooling, and training, with the mission of offering an operational alternative to implement a secure and trusted digital transformation tailored to each region. This transformation, which can sometimes be complex within rural territories, will now be streamlined thanks to Sekoia. Indeed, the company—developer of an all-in-one cybersecurity solution (anticipation – detection – reaction)—will equip each local authority on a case-by-case basis. Sekoia.io will also provide its assistance and operational incident response forces in the event of proven cyberattacks.
In addition to significantly accelerating projects for rural areas, this partnership combines digital transformation, cybersecurity, and resilience with resource pooling, economic attractiveness, and job creation.
"The cybersecurity empowerment of local territories will only happen if they are able to come together within dedicated organizations that allow them to pool their needs and resources. Our partnership will combine a strategic approach with accessible solutions deployed by a human-sized partner with recognized expertise," explains Eric Lambert, CEO of INCRT.
This partnership aims to deploy a suite of affordable solutions within Local Cybersecurity Resource Centers, taking into account the constraints and specific context of each rural area.
"Aware of the current challenges facing local authorities, we chose to ally with INCRT to offer a fast and practical deployment of our XDR solution. Sekoia already provides these offerings to large organizations, but this partnership will allow us to reach the entire rural network to deliver a turnkey cybersecurity solution compatible with digital transformation programs," explains David Bizeul, CTO of Sekoia.io.
