Sekoia Achieves SOC 2 Type 1

Paris, 2 March 2026. Sekoia, the European cybersecurity technology company and provider of the leading AI SOC platform, announces that it has successfully completed the Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 1 audit. Conducted by A-LIGN, an independent and internationally recognized auditing firm, this compliance milestone highlights Sekoia’s relentless commitment to protecting its clients’ sensitive data and maintaining the highest standards of operational security.

SOC 2 Type 1 Standard Requirements

Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the SOC 2 framework is a globally recognized standard for managing customer data based on specific trust service criteria. The Type 1 audit rigorously evaluates the design and implementation of a service organization’s internal controls at a specific point in time, focusing specifically on security, availability, and confidentiality.

A Global Scope and Continuous Commitment

Sekoia’s SOC 2 Type 1 assessment involved a comprehensive review of the company’s internal security practices, policies, and operations. Crucially, this compliance covers not only the Sekoia organization itself, but also its expansive infrastructure and different cloud hosting regions across the globe. This global scope guarantees that customers and MSSP partners benefit from rigorous, audited security controls regardless of where they choose to host their data to meet local compliance requirements. The official SOC 2 Type 1 report and more information on the company’s security posture can be found on our Trust Center: https://trust.sekoia.com/.

Maxime Arandel, Information Security Officer at Sekoia, said: “Trust is the foundation of our Cyber Operations Platform. Building upon the ISO 27001 certification we achieved last year, completing the SOC 2 Type 1 audit is a major validation of our security-first culture. By extending the scope of this audit across our cloud regions in France, Monaco, Europe, USA and the Middle East, we are giving our highly regulated customers the absolute confidence that their data is protected by best-in-class controls. We are incredibly proud of this achievement, and our sights are already set on SOC 2 Type 2 as our next planned milestone.”
“Congratulations to Sekoia for earning their SOC 2 attestation, which is a widely recognized signal of trust and security,” said Steve Simmons, COO of A-LIGN. “It’s great to work with organizations like Sekoia who understand the value of expertise in driving an efficient audit and the importance of a high-quality final report.”
